Nutkao is a premium manufacturer of unique Italian-inspired finished product hazelnut spreads for brands and private labels. We are the world’s largest private-label hazelnut and chocolate spreads manufacturer, the only scale manufacturer of hazelnut spreads in the U.S.A.

 

Working with our parent company, Nutkao S.r.l, based in Canove di Govone, Italy we serve customers in the U.S., Canada, and South America as a uniquely American company with distinctive Italian roots that is bringing a new wave of exciting products to local shelves. In addition to our facilities in the U.S.A and Italy, we have key operations in Ghana and Belgium.

The U.S.A production facility occupies 92,000 sq.ft. and includes:

• Raw materials, packaging, and finished product warehouses. Fully integrated with RF technology.

• Production department with fully computerized control of the production cycle.

• Packaging department with fully computerized control of the packaging system.

 

We applied 35 years of experience when we built our U.S.A production facility in 2015. The facility is a modern masterpiece equipped with the latest state-of-the-art BRC and FDA compliant technology. We have also invested in fully integrated systems to ensure real-time information.

 

Bringing Italian-Made Quality to America

Nutkao S.r.l. was founded in Italy in 1982 by Guiseppe Braida with the goal of creating private label creams, spreads, and finished products for retail confectioners. With a focus on cocoa and hazelnut spreads as well as semi-finished sweets, the company has developed over the years to achieve international recognition as a reference in the production of spreadable creams for third parties.
